Lake Ashinoko is located on the border of Shizuoka Prefecture. It is located near Hakone, which is famous for its hot springs, and is a sightseeing spot with cruising on the lake. Lake Ashinoko is also famous as a fishing spot, and since black bass were released into the lake for the first time in Japan, it is considered a sacred place for bass fishing.

The main target fish here are also, rainbow trout, brown trout, Japanese landlocked salmon, and landlocked salmon. It is also famous for wakasagi (smelt) fishing. Lake Ashinoko has a closed fishing season from March 2 to December 14. There are some areas where fishing is prohibited, so please be careful about this. Worms are prohibited and fishing is only allowed from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. Also, don't forget that you need a fishing permit if you want to fish in Lake Ashinoko.

How about fishing while sightseeing and enjoying the hot springs of Mt.Fuji? Pack-Rod is very convenient for such Greedy Anglars.
