Very good service. The delivery was really fast about 10 days to New Zealand is not to bad . I am hopping to have an option to bring trough New Zealand post but is not viable at the moment . The rod was great and catch 3 decent trout's in it first trip and fight another 5 or 6 that get lost due to a bland hook's otherwise the day would be even better for. Very solid and also light rod I am very happy. ( Daiwa blazon LBF ). I will recommend this business definitely!! Thanks Mat and JDM team.

Not really suitable for 1-2g lures. I find it far too stiff for smaller lures. Given the rating, I was expecting something with more flex and closer to a glass rod, in terms of action. Still a very compact rod at 3'9" and 4 piece.

I don't ussualy write reviews because i'm bad at it but this time is an exception. I feel like it can help other people to buy their dream fishing tackle with more confidence. I've had part of excellent customer services. Friendly staff and regular updates on my order. In my case, my preordered item was in high demands, thus the waiting time was about two months. Quite lucky, because initially was around four months. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase, I acquired my coveted fishing rod at a very good price. Way cheaper if I had to buy it in Europe.

My experience on was fantastic! I ordered a Shimano spinning reel (the Soare 500, spectacular) their website is clear, it is easy to order and shipping with DHL is a must. The very friendly and professional staff puts you at ease and illustrates with various friendly messages what happens to your order and when it ships.... The reel was perfectly packed and inside I found an Origami of a little fish and a really cute handwritten note! Now that origami is on my desk and every time I look at it I think about fishing, wonderful Japan and what has become my favorite fishing shop in the world. I recommend it to everyone, for me it's a true fisherman's paradise!

Always appreciate the service with jdm tackle heaven. They have added UPS shipping which to USA has been delivering next day. Latest purchase was the yamaga early boat 510ml. Beautiful light rod that feels like a trout / panfish rod until you realize the PE / lure weight rating. Will be using it for coastal fishing in Texas for speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder and Spanish Mackerel when fishing from my 4.5m skiff. So far have tested with a 5 gram casting plug, easy to cast 25-30 meters. Plan to use for freelining live shrimp (no weight or float) so 10-15 gram weight.
