The B60-PPJ features a regular slow taper that achieves both mid-deep sea slow fishing and high-pitch action in shallow water. It is designed for expedition jigging in depths from shallow areas down to around 150 meters, skillfully handling 250–500g slow-style jigs with both slow and high-pitch techniques. It is aimed at targeting large groupers and big amberjack that inhabit areas near the bottom. The rod also features a highly responsive, high-rebound belly section, allowing effective high-pitch action in shallow water to attract pelagic species such as yellowtail using techniques like dotera drift. By keeping the rod upright and fully loading it, the blank’s characteristic butt power enables anglers to lift fish smoothly without giving them a sense of resistance.
