The B50-PPJ is designed for expedition jigging in Japan’s most demanding offshore grounds, targeting amberjack inhabiting deep zones of 200–300m using heavy jigs up to a maximum of 800g with high-pitch action. It is also a monster-class rod capable of comfortably jerking up to 1200g in slow jigging for ultra-deep waters exceeding 500m, where unknown large fish are believed to exist. The blank is engineered to handle heavy and complex currents while delivering the most aggressive jig action possible. Its highly responsive, powerful construction also assists the angler during heavy jigging, making it easy to use even for those with less physical strength or for female anglers.
