At the beginning of August, our JDM Tackle Heaven team came together for our annual company gathering. Even though some of our members usually work remotely in different parts of Japan, this event is the perfect chance for everyone to reunite in Takasaki, Gunma, where our headquarters are located.
This year, we took a short day trip to American Village in Ikaho, a historic hot spring town nestled in the mountains of Gunma. Known for its scenic beauty and relaxing atmosphere, Ikaho was the perfect backdrop for our gathering—even on an extremely hot summer day.
American Village is a indoor amusement museum dedicated to the culture of the United States. Visitors can explore different “factories” and exhibits, such as the Teddy Bear Factory, custom T-shirt and license-plate workshops, and an indoor exhibition area showcasing milestones of American history and pop culture. There’s also a vintage café where you can pause for a snack and enjoy the atmosphere.
The day's highlights included painting teddy bears, admiring classic cars, and learning a touch of U.S. history and traditions. It was a refreshing break from our daily routine, and it gave us the chance to relax, have fun, and connect with one another.
After the trip, we gathered back at our headquarters for a general meeting. There, we shared ideas, reflected on recent achievements, and talked about our plans for the future of JDM Tackle Heaven. It was a meaningful opportunity to align as a team and look ahead to the projects and improvements we want to bring to our customers.
More than just a day trip, this gathering reminded us of the importance of spending time together as a team—sharing new experiences, creating memories, and strengthening the bonds that make our work at JDM Tackle Heaven special.
We look forward to the next time we can come together, and in the meantime, we’ll carry the energy of this fun day back into the projects and service we provide to you, our valued community.
