Shooter Machinegun Cast is Sunline's bass nylon built around one idea: the feeling of the cast itself. Elongation is held down close to fluorocarbon levels, so the lure's movement and the bottom composition come back through the line instead of being absorbed by it.
The 2026 generation adds Plasma Rise, a plasma surface treatment that bonds a polymer layer to the line rather than coating over it. Ordinary coatings wear off after a few trips and the line starts to feel dull and noisy through the guides. This one stays smooth much longer, so the last day on a spool casts closer to the first.
Wound parallel onto the spool and finished in New Att Brown with red markers every 5 metres, so you can read how much line you have left at a glance.
