The original bottom dart.
The Dart Magic is the lure that created bottom-dart fishing on managed trout ponds. Its lead head combined with a solid resin body - a construction nothing else uses - gives it a high specific gravity and a weight balance that produces a fast, sharp dart.
That speed is exactly the point. A dart this quick is hard for pressured, heavily fished trout to read, and it flips the feeding switch on fish that have stopped reacting to a straight retrieve. Work it along the bottom with short rod strokes and let it fall between darts.
This renewal moves to a two-hook system, which noticeably improves the hook-up rate over the original.
