The Trigon is the TN60 rebuilt around a triangular O.M.S. (Out Metal System) lip. The added weight sits lower in the body, so the bait keeps its nose-down attitude in the air and carries noticeably further than the original TN — far enough to reach the water you previously had to leave alone.
That same lip lets it be retrieved through depths the original TN could not handle, while keeping the TN family's stability on the bottom: the broad contact face stops it toppling over, so it deflects off cover instead of hanging in it.
The bone-material body carries two lead balls, giving a dull, low knocking sound rather than a sharp rattle — the register that tends to pull the bigger fish.
