The Chibi Futten FS is the downsized version of the Futten FS. Only the front half of the joint was shortened by 9mm, so the body stays compact while keeping the long-casting performance of the original.
The lip sits on the back of the head, so although the bait sinks at rest it rises on the retrieve and can be worked like a spoon. A tungsten weight in the triangular head keeps it from lifting too far, which makes holding a chosen depth easy and puts every range in play.
Where the full-size Futten swims with a hard roll, the Chibi runs a quieter wobble: use the Futten to search wide and the Chibi to work the depth you have already found. The jointed body folds on the fall, shedding water so it drops without spinning and without picking up the line, and it folds on the cast too — which is how a jointed bait this small still casts a long way. Above a certain retrieve speed the wobble flips into a rotating action, giving you a spinner-like attractor as an extra card to play.
