The shad tail that keeps its nose down on a weightless retrieve.
Imakatsu never had a plain shad tail worm in the range - the shelves are full of ones that swim in the top layer. Naoyuki Mihara built the MJ Shad Tail to do the opposite: crawl it weightless and keep it in contact with the bottom while you reel.
A jointed body holds the bait down instead of letting it climb, and a flat face under the tail catches water and pulls the head down. The result is a straightforward shad tail you can fish slowly, deep, and with no weight at all.
