The Huddle Fly - the ultimate finesse soft bait that goes beyond a baitfish.
When you absolutely have to get that one bite, this is the confidence bait to reach for. Katsutaka Imae calls it the ultimate tournament bait: it has rescued him countless times in bad conditions and in tough tournaments.
A slim light-rig bait carrying the Huddle Tail designed by Ken Huddleston. The tail generates just enough water resistance to slow the fall and grip the water, so the bait moves only a short distance even when you work it. It also rolls easily for a strong flashing effect.
The small Huddle Tail looks almost motionless at a glance, but look closely and it quivers in tiny pulses, exactly like the tail of a real baitfish. That gap - a fragile silhouette paired with a strong water push - is what draws bites from heavily pressured fish.
Suggested rigs: drop shot, weightless offset (no-action retrieve), Carolina rig, and nail-sinker horizontal fall.
