The "S.T.limited," developed based on the theories of light game specialist Kentaro Umae, has been brushed up. By newly incorporating Toray Industries' "TORAYCA® T1100G," the rod pursues both sensitivity and strength. By adding tension to the tip section, it achieves a balance of operability and the strength required to withstand the powerful currents of the Setouchi area.
Designed to target Wels catfish, the El Horizonte 83 is no exaggeration to call the ultimate freshwater rod. For a rod built to tackle world-class monsters beyond fishing style limits, its superb castability and control with big baits are merely byproducts. Focused purely on the essence of fishing—securing the catch—no finer rod may exist. Introducing a long blade crafted to take on the world.
A regular taper to slightly fast action, heavy power rod.
Designed around PE lines #4–6, this regular taper (slightly fast/heavy action) rod can cast lures up to 350g as well as live bait. It excels with 4–6 oz lures and easily handles the increasingly popular 200–300mm class lures. While featuring a powerful belly and butt section, the tip remains versatile enough to cast smaller 20–40g lures. Supporting everything from hard baits to live bait, its unique blank loads weight deep into the belly even when casting larger baitfish. Capable of facing monster fish one-on-one in heavy currents or at extreme casting distances, it stands as the most powerful heavy-duty rod in the El Horizonte lineup.
The 8.3-foot casting distance allows you to reach beyond high-pressure areas and present your lure closer to the fish. Furthermore, the intense butt power of the TULALA blank gives you total control, ensuring solid hooksets from a distance and effortlessly hauling fish in. Unquestionably, these elements of long-distance casting and pure strength serve as powerful assets for anglers at waters edge all around the world.
