Indomitable power with remarkably light casting and handling.
Named for the Latin indomitus — unyielding — this is the power model of the Zephyr Avantgarde line, built for oversized lures. The thick-wound blank uses Toray T1100G high-strength high-modulus carbon together with mid-modulus material, with the butt reinforced by ultra-high-modulus T1100G/M46X for rigidity. It handles giant baits up to roughly 10oz.
Despite that, the 7-foot length and high-balance design keep casting and lure work light: a 1oz pencil bait can be launched long and walked continuously without strain. Aimed at big sea bass on large lures and at power games for monster fish at home and abroad.
All double-foot titanium-frame SiC KW guides, a high-grade spigot joint, a TCS reel seat and a flared hard-EVA butt cap. Made in Japan.
