The regular gear model. 4.1:1 and 95cm per crank keeps the retrieve light, which suits reel-sabiki work for kisu and general all-round surf casting.
The tenth generation of Daiwa's 45 series and the first surf reel to carry AIRDRIVE ROTOR and AIRDRIVE BAIL. The rotor is the largest that fits the body yet weighs the same as the 19 model, and the bail is 25% smaller in diameter. MAXSIZE SPOOL widens the front flange to 74mm, 10% larger than before, on the 45mm stroke the series has used since the original Procaster SS45. ZAION body and rotor, Magsealed, LC-ABS. A red spare spool (6 degree taper, PE 0.6-250m), reel bag, adjustment washers and a spool band are included. Older 45mm spools fit this reel; the new MAXSIZE spool does not fit older reels.
