Blooowin! 50S is the smallest member of the family - 50mm and 2g - and it exists for one job: drawing a bite out of pressured fish that have already turned down every other plug in the box.
It keeps the Blooowin double action. A wobble-and-roll runs underneath a slow, wandering S-curve, and the two happening at once put a hesitation into the swim that a lure this small has no business having.
The build is what makes that possible. The centre of gravity is pushed as low as it will go while the internal air volume is preserved, and between the fixed weight and the side-mounted line eye the slim body keeps an unusual amount of buoyancy. That leaves a fraction of instability every time the lure changes posture - the very fine shimmer Blue Blue calls a hyper pitch response action.
Fish it by casting and letting it drift. This is finesse plugging: put it in the current, let it hang, and let the action do the work. Blue Blue tester Ryosuke Koga sums the 50S up as "if this does not get bitten, move spots."
Suited to micro-baitfish situations for seabass, and to black seabream and light inshore work in general.
