The Aizer 125F is one of the shallow runners in the most fiercely contested category of seabass lures, and since launch it has been chosen by countless anglers and has produced countless fish. The more it was used, however, the more two requests came back: a slightly weaker action with that perfect floating feel, and just a little more depth. The Aizer 125 Lillard was developed from exactly those voices.
The Lillard is the evolution of the Aizer, built around ultimate ease of use. What was pursued above all was the sense of suspension. The rise speed when you stop the retrieve was tuned until it felt natural to a predator, and the answer was +2.8g - only marginally heavier than the Aizer 125F. The gain is considerable: underwater it sits on the exact edge between floating and not, and it runs one step deeper than the original 125F. Where the 125F could move a little too much on a down-cast, the Lillard keeps that movement in check and appeals reliably even in fast current.
The Aizer 125 Lillard comes into its own as autumn deepens and water temperatures drop. Retrieve it or pause it - either way it works. Use the Aizer 125F and the Lillard side by side and chase your own best fish.
