The B57-PPJ is designed for nearshore jigging in situations where the tide is not running or when high-pitch, fast-moving techniques fail to trigger bites in slow or tough conditions. It is built to work with lighter jigs of up to around 400g, using the rod’s natural rebound with a slightly low-response action to cast and animate the jig more naturally. The blank features significantly increased butt power and overall breaking strength, making it capable of serious battles even in FAD-based yellowfin jigging and medium-class bluefin tuna up to around 100kg, fully utilizing its butt power during the fight. It offers a well-balanced lightness and easy swing feel, resulting in a rod you can comfortably keep casting all day long.
