The Cross Mission SS is a versatile powerhouse designed to master various offshore games with a single rod. Whether you are targeting Tai Rubber, Light Jigging, Tip Eging, or Metal Sutte—and even extending to Blade Jigging and Boat Ajing—this rod is engineered to conquer a vast array of species and styles.

The Technical Holding Seat equipped on the baitcasting models features a seamless design that eliminates gaps in the hood, significantly improving the sense of unity between the palm and the reel seat. This allows for a firm, natural grip that helps maintain concentration. Furthermore, the flat bottom of the reel seat increases the contact area, enhancing grip stability. Even with a light hold, you can experience a suction-like fit. Additionally, a short EVA grip is positioned at the rear of the reel seat. By intentionally designing it thicker, it securely locks against the pisiform bone at the base of the palm, supporting a stable grip without any wobble.

The spinning models are equipped with the Perfection Seat XT. This reel seat maintains a balance between ease of grip and power transmission while achieving thorough weight reduction through the use of CI4+ carbon-reinforced material. It features an easy-to-grip oval shape with no gaps between the hood and the seat.

The lineup consists of six items in total: three spinning models and three baitcasting models. They are developed within the most frequently used power zones, ranging from Medium-Light to Medium and Medium-Heavy.

The blanks have been redesigned from the highly acclaimed previous Cross Mission series, resulting in a dramatic improvement in operability. By shifting the main composition from mid-modulus to high-modulus carbon and adopting a specialized slim design, nimble handling has been achieved. Response has also significantly improved; the increased transmission rate allows anglers to detect even the slightest irregularities and turn them into successful hooksets.

Furthermore, the irregular 3-piece specification using a grip-joint system provides a feeling and operability close to that of a 1-piece rod. It achieves a smooth and beautiful bend curve that is difficult to replicate with a center-cut joint. The solid tip features Tough Tech ∞ (Infinity), which offers superior strength and suppresses tip breakage during unexpected trouble. The reel seats employ the Perfection Seat XT for spinning models and the Technical Holding Seat for baitcasting models. These features ensure a more comfortable fishing experience while supporting high-level performance.
