The "LEXA" tough reel has achieved a high level of operability.

Developed for the most demanding fishing scenarios, the "LEXA" tough reel features Tough Digigear at its heart. The outer body is constructed from high-strength aluminum. By incorporating Magsealed in the pinion section, it achieves the high rigidity and durability that have become synonymous with the LEXA name. The newly adopted AIRDRIVE DESIGN improves rotational startup lightness and weight balance, providing a high level of operability. Its true value is realized in scenes where toughness is essential, such as shore jigging, sea bass, SLJ, and rockfish games.

AIRDRIVE DESIGN
The Airdrive Design is a next-generation spinning reel design philosophy pursued to allow anglers to manipulate lures exactly as intended. Airdrive Design is composed of up to four key technologies. It requires the inclusion of the Airdrive Rotor, which produces high-response rotation with light startup. This is complemented by the lightweight, trouble-free Airdrive Bail; the thin-walled Airdrive Spool, which pushes weight reduction to the limit by stripping away unnecessary material; and the Airdrive Shaft, which supports the main shaft with high-precision collars and features a non-contact structure with the pinion gear to enable light winding with minimal rotational noise even under high loads. The synergy of these features, combined with improved reel weight balance, achieves a high level of operability.

AIRDRIVE ROTOR
Based on a unique theory, a new shape was derived as if cut directly from a sphere. From there, unnecessary material was thoroughly stripped away to achieve significant weight reduction while maintaining rigidity. The lightness of the rotational startup, which leads to improved operability and sensitivity, has been dramatically enhanced.

AIRDRIVE BAIL
The Air Bail, which has long employed a hollow pipe structure for rigidity and lightness, has been reduced in diameter to achieve even further weight reduction while maintaining the necessary strength. It features an optimized tilt setting for the bail angle, allowing the line to transition more smoothly from the bail to the line roller. This achieves enhanced lightness and trouble-free performance.
