Shimano has announced price increases for some of their products. Due to the rising cost of raw materials and transportation costs, among other factors, the prices of rods will increase by 3-12% and those of reels will increase by about 3-7%. These changes will take effect on the 1st of February, and our prices will gradually adjust along with them.
All Tenryu products will also be subject to price increases for the same reason. The price increases will range from 8-15% and apply from the 1st of February.
In addition, Smith will raise the prices of some of their products on the 21st of February due to the weak yen and repeated price increases for various raw materials and purchases.
Other manufacturers are also expected to raise their prices in the future, so those who are considering purchasing are suggested to make a decision as soon as possible.
