I live near a river perfect for ayu fishing, which my father loved. I didn’t fish but enjoyed watching. I often caught trout at fishing ponds but have never tried sea fishing—I’d love to someday!

Nanbanzuke (grilled and marinated horse mackerel, sardine, salmon, whitefish, etc.) Deep-fried fish is mixed with vegetables and marinated in a refreshing nanban sauce (vinegar and other seasonings).

Oze is a stunning spot in Japan, especially during autumn with its breathtaking foliage. The traditional "bokka" (porters) culture adds a unique and fascinating charm!

I enjoy petit DIY, like customizing my home and building shelves. I also love nature, especially bird watching and finding unique plants and animals. Exploring local scenery is a must when I travel.
