The Air Drive Rotor features a unique shape that looks as if it were carved directly from a sphere. Through its development, the successful transition to an aluminum rotor was achieved while maintaining the low inertia essential for the comfortable operability of small spinning reels. The synergy with the full-metal (AL) Monocock body provides unprecedented high rigidity, superior winding performance, and a rotational feel unique to metal. This "special edition" is particularly effective when fighting large fish in a trial of strength or when retrieving high-resistance lures such as metal vibrations, blade jigs, and large minnows. For this reason, the lineup has been intentionally limited to sizes ranging from 3000 to 5000.
In addition, reinforcements and material choices designed for tough use have been implemented throughout, such as ATD TOUGH using highly durable carbon washers, a high-strength SUS drag knob nut, a cranked bail that ensures reliable line feeding to the line roller, and a newly designed Magsealed line roller with improved waterproofing. It isn't just about the specs. An emotional texture is also a privilege unique to the HD. The black-based exterior is adorned with a brilliant luster from a new paint process. Two ball bearings have been added for a total of 12. From the body to the rotor, the CERTATE HD possesses high rigidity and superior winding performance due to its all-metal construction.
