Condition:
Brand New. May include items displayed in stores.
Features:
Fitted with the AR-S blade and its remarkable rotation performance.
Hiroyuki Motoyama, a leading figure in Japanese bass fishing, is also deeply versed in stream trout fishing, and spent years searching for a spinner he could be satisfied with. After more than a decade of trial and error he finally completed it - the AR-S.
What the AR-S set out to achieve was a blade that starts turning from the very moment it lands. The AR-S blade generates a strong vibration and keeps rotating reliably even in heavy current, appealing to the target immediately on splashdown. A slight raised lip along the blade edge improves rotation and assists that quick start-up, reliably widening the narrow productive zone of a mountain stream and greatly increasing bite chances on pinpoint casts.
It also responds to rod work during the retrieve, allowing a left-right slide on a twitch. A rolling swivel shaft reduces line twist, as does the stable low-centre-of-gravity teardrop body and the clearance designed between body and shaft.
Four weights are stocked here: 1.6g, 2.1g, 3.5g and 4.5g. Price varies by weight.
