The second entry in the elfin Mini series keeps the shape and action of the original Grasshopper while shrinking the body as far as it will go. Both models are 33mm and take S31BL #8 hooks on #1 rings.
This is the floating model at 1.5g, running to about 40cm. It is weightless, which makes it silent on entry and keeps fish from spooking. Against the SP it responds faster on the retrieve, holds its depth better, and swims a little shallower. For managed-pond trout.
