The F3.1/2-70LVS is a modernized update of Megabass’s U.S. pro model “SHAKYHEAD,” which has built a strong track record in the American tournament scene. Re-engineered with the latest rod engineering technologies, it has been reconfigured for a new generation of anglers as part of the updated Levante lineup. As its name “SHAKYHEAD” suggests, the fast-action characteristics that once excelled in competitive shaking techniques have been further evolved and fed back into the new Levante design. It delivers precise control, excellent hook-setting performance, and enhanced comfort in mid-strolling applications using forward-facing sonar (FFS), as well as deep-range down shot fishing. The powerful blank also performs exceptionally well in cover finesse situations, allowing anglers to confidently pitch finesse rigs and small rubber jigs into heavy cover where high-scoring bass are holding.
