Inheriting the name "GRAY GHOST," synonymous with mid-strolling rods for finesse worming since the first generation STEEZ, the GRAY GHOST 64 is a significantly evolved rod for hover strolling, mid strolling, and bottom strolling. The taper has been completely revised from the previous model, following the taper of the BLX S64UL.
By adopting "AGS" and "CWS," the fusion of DAIWA's carbon molding technology and SVF with "Torayca® M46X" makes it easy to freely control the shake pitch—from hover strolling that vibrates only the tail without rolling, to mid strolling that induces a roll.
It supports a wide range of lures and actions, from micro hover strolling (previously considered impossible with conventional UL mid strolling rods) to 5" class power mid strolling and evasive actions. By incorporating a "unique bent taper" ("He" character taper) in the tip, you can feel the changes in line slack and tension during slack line shaking, as well as the lure's operational sensitivity. It is a highly sensitive mid strolling rod that allows you to clearly perceive the lure's condition, as if it were in your hand, even at depths exceeding 10m.
