The BFS (Bait Finesse Special) UL model delivers outstanding performance as a topwater rod, allowing lures like the DOG-X series and POPX to move lively and rhythmically. It enables sharp 180-degree turns with the POPX and creates an expanded dog-walk action with enhanced slides and darts for the DOG-X series. This is a long-awaited slow taper model in the series. In addition, it offers exceptional shooting performance, allowing small jigs and weightless worms—traditionally used with spinning tackle—to be cast on a low trajectory deep into overhanging cover. The high-rigidity butt section, capable of handling unexpected big fish even in light cover, is made possible by Levante’s X Graphite System.
